Rims and tpms
Hey everyone,
Been a while since I been into modding my car, I used to run a 08 IS and back then a lot of the rims specifically the JDM rims were not compatible with TPMS.
Have they fixed that issue? What are some of the more popular rims you guys prefer that are compatible with the OEM tpms.

Quick question for you gurus....2014 ES 350. TPMS. Anybody know which corner (FR, FL, etc) the relative TPMS sensor ID numbers (1, 2, 3, 4) refer to as pulled up by Carista? (If this is not the correct forum, feel free to relocate it). Thanks.

Although I am not able to verify for this specific tool, since the TPMS relearn sequence for the vehicle is LF/RF/RR/LR I would imagine it would be in that order for the tool. Hopefully another member who has this specific tool can confirm that for you.

Thanks for that response which seems to agree with other non-specific info I’ve seen. I am waiting for a response to the question I directed to Carista but I anticipate it will also agree.

This is the response I got back from Carista: "... It doesn't matter which sensor is used for which tire, the car just needs to recognize them as registered..."
