I'm wondering if rust bubbles are something to worry about on OEM chrome Lexus wheels. Could rust spread? What precautions should be taken? Any possible fixes?
thanks very much,

Ouch...
Not good. I am not aware of any effective repair for this sort of peeling. This happens usually if the wheel is new because it hasn't been polished well or if it is an old wheel it happens in many cases eventually even if it was polished well. Silver painted is more durable then chrome but chrome looks so darn good its hard to resist. Good luck you may be able to have the wheel refinished/rechromed.

Thanks for the info. I guess from now on the best precaution is to keep them clean?
By the way, approximately how much would it cost to have a small portion of the wheel rechromed?
