Which tires for a GS430?
Should I stick to the OEM bridgestone or should I try the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position . The only reason I am doubting getting the S-03 is because they are not Z rated. I care more about performance then road noise or wear. So if anyone has the S- 03 please let me know how you like them? Also does tire rack offer any discounts for CL members? THanks

Purebliss...
The S03 are speed rated higher than the Bridgestone OEMs and have far better performance...
Check out the Tire Rack's Writeup on Speed Rating -->click here
Speed Rating - Miles/Hour - Kilometers/Hour - Typical Use
N=87 MPH, 140km/h, Spare Tires U=124 MPH, 200km/h
P=93 MPH, 150km/h H=130 MPH, 210km/h, Sport Sedans
Q=99 MPH, 160km/h, Winter, LT Tires V=149 MPH, 240km/h, Sports Cars
R=106 MPH, 170km/h, LT Tires Z=149 MPH, 240km/h and over, Sports Cars
S=112 MPH, 180km/h W=168 MPH, 270km/h, Exotic Sport Cars
T=118 MPH, 190km/h Y=186 MPH, 300km/h, Exotic Sport Cars
S03's are either W or Y rated, depending on the size (I believe the OEM GS size is Y rated)
I've had two sets of S03's (one on my OEM wheels and one on my Piaa's) and highly recommend them. Great tires.

Really I thought that ZR was A higher speed rating then YR. Stupid me! So you think the s-03 is a good choice over the OEM ones (RE030). ALso should I trust AAA rims for buying rims?

Yes, S03's are a good choice. There are other good alternatives (see the writeup stickyed at the top of this forum), but I would get the S03's myself.
I had a set of AAA rims and they worked just fine. Looked just like OEM, no problems.

Thanks.
I am going to get them in chrome form AAA. How did you find the quality to be? Can you tell they are remakes? I am worried about the chrome quality because I live in NYC and I don't want them peeling on me you know. But my main concern was that they were going to be made cheap and not be as strong as OEM!
