Replacement Tires 2004 LS430 - Texas
Good (early) morning. Looking for recommendations on tires for my LS430 running the 18" OEM wheels
I live in Texas so not much winter weather other than ice 3-4 days out of the winter on the roads, mostly rain if anything but nothing major. I drive for a living (territory manager for Samsung) so I like having a quiet ride but at the same time I don't want to lose grip on the road. The LS is already a boat so I like to do everything I can to have it handle as best as possible. Any recommendations on tires would be awesome! Looking to purchase by mid January as my front two tires are on their last leg, so I figured it's just a good time to replace all 4.
Thanks in advance..

I would urge you to look in the performance all-season category as a tire from there will deliver what you are asking for.
Ultra-High Performance All-Season tires on Tire Rack
Some top performers are the Continental Extreme Contact DWS, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 and the Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position

I have Continental Extreme DWS on my IS250. It is very comfortable, quiet, and seem to last very long. I had about 7k miles on there and drive them hard everyday and still have tons of tread left. Therefore it is really what you are looking for.
However, in performance category, this tire is no where near the summer tires Hankook v12 which I have on the IS350.The DWS does not perform well in autocross/track. Cornering ability, steering feel, predictability are not good as the Hankook v12 at all.
I push hard both IS250 and IS350 on autocross.
Overall, DWS is good when you wants comfort, quietness, durability, and ability to drive on snow.
Hankook v12 when you want excellent performance with a decent comfort, and quietness.

I've been pleased with these Conti Extreme DW:

Mine currently have 36K though in 245/40-18. At current wear, I would say they will be replaced somewhere around 48K mile range. Reasonably quiet, good in the wet and handling-turn in is responsive. Ride to me is comfortable. I'd buy them again. The other I also liked was the Yokohama S Drive, another summer tire.
