I have been researching replacement tires for my 93 LS400. Very confusing so far. Does anyone know if the Dunlop sp4000 has been discontinued and replaced by the sp5000 ?? This is the impression I get from the Dunlop web site yet Tire Rack and local dealers are still pushing the sp4000.

Is the Dunlop sp5000 a good tire for average 93 LS400 use ? Is it available in 225/60 -16 97V ?

Can anyone recommend a good place for tire reviews, I usually like to use Consumer Reports but they don't seem to have reviewed these type of tires. I don't feel comfortable with the Tire Rack reviews because I think the fine print says they may be written by Tire Rack salespeople, etc.
