all season tires
just givin ya'll a heads up. i purchased a set of bfg g-force kdws ($500/set at tire rack). because it was early september, i deemed it too early to get dedicated snow tires, and my tire rack rep confirmed this. these are 17" all seasons that i got, and though it hasn't snowed yet, the tires have performed well in wet weather, and overall, i like them performance wise-better than the dunlops. however, the dunlops look better on the wheels.

Agree with you there. I got a set at our local Costco (235/45/17) for $113.99/ea + $10 for lifetime mounting/balancing/rotation/road harzard warranty. It does not look as aggressive as the other tires (e.g. Michelin Sport A/S, Dunlops, etc.) but for the money, these can't be beat.
Very quiet and very responsive so far, I think because of the harder sidewalls. We are expecting a major downpour this week and I look forward to testing them in the rain.
