Lexus RX300 Application (Wheel Expert Pls help)
Hi, I have a 99 RX300 and I am currently looking for some new wheels. I want to know if the Racing Hart Type CR 2 piece wheel in 19X8.5 would fit my car or maybe you can recommend me some wheels that would fit my car in 19 or 20" . I don't really like the Lsportline Model 4. Can you tell me the price for the Type CR 2 piece wheel in that size. Moreover, is my RX3 capable of doing like 19X8 in front and 19X9 or 19X9.5 in the rear? How come some cars can use different width rims and some cannot? Any help would be appreciated, thanx.

not sure if your rx is 2 or 4wd..
on the 2wd, the car takes 19x8 or 20x8. many work wheels of japan have applications for the 2WD..
take a look:

ok i'll take a look on monday. in the meantime, i'd take will's advice and look at some custom wheels from Japan (like work). The RX is a unique and hard to fit application, so unless a mfg. has SPECIFICALLY made an application for it, we're going to have to get something custom like HRE or going over to Japan and getting something custom made (like Works, which will mentioned).

Generally speaking, it is not a good idea to stagger on the RX300. I'd go with a 8.0+35 or a 8.5+30 (otherwise the wheel may hit the inside).
We did do a very special application on one AWD RX300 for a CL member, LSL Model IV 3pc 20x8.5+44 in the front with a 5mm spacer, and a 20x8.5+24 in the rear. This turned out pretty good.
