Need Some Advice.......
i am looking at 19" mille miglia evo sports with good tread for about 1600bux with reciepts (from the buy and sell)...
the only problem is that the rims have been painted or powder coated to gun metal... personally i don't think this fits a lex so i was wondering if there is any way to change the color back to the original or a polished silver finish (so that its kinda shiny but not chromed out)......
how much does this typically cost?

Sure, anything is possible... how much do you want to spend?
If they are powdercoated, they'll need to be sandblasted to get the powdercoat off. If they're just painted, a powerful paint remover should do the job. How can you tell which finish it is? Try a bit of paint remover on a small area- if the finish bubbles, it's painted. If the finish doesn't bubble- it's powdercoated.
Either way, figure about $20 per wheel for stripping, and $40 to $75 per wheel for painting, and $60 to $100 per wheel for powdercoating.
