Tires
The dealer says my treads are wearing thin and it is time to consider putting on some new ones.
What are some good tires?
Should I just replace the stock sumitomo tires?
What do you guys think of Pirelli P-zeros? Are they overpriced or are they worth it?

Hankook V12's are great replacements! they are great performing tires and you can't beat the price. Check out the car and driver tire test.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I looked into Hankook v12 but they are summer tires. Car and driver says they perform quite well in the wet but I want to be extra safe. My fear is that those might slip on the one day out of year when it rains in So Cal.

i have over 2,000 miles on mine now and i have even driven in heavy rain mixed with sleet. absolutely no problems at all. i won't worry about the tires performance out in cali for the little rain you get but also C&D stated they performed very well in the wet. what conditions are you concerned about?
