Brake time
Hey guys. Got 22k on my '08 IS250 and I think it might be time to get some new pads. I haven't had any indication of them needing to be changed yet, but I'm paranoid about the pads getting too worn and then me having to replace the rotors also. Always bites hard when that happens.
Anyways, where do you recommend I get the brakes from? I was going to go to a local place that has changed out brake pads for me before in less than 20 minutes for a real reasonable price. There's no special care that needs to be taken regarding the tire pressure sensors, right?
Anything I need to know about the pads?

Alright. So I'm looking at this site online for auto parts. Site won't let me post the link.
I'm looking under the 'Replacement' category because I don't do any "high-performance driving" (unless Southern California streets and freeways counts) so I was wondering which brand you guys recommend and more importantly, what material?
Looks like most rear pads are ceramic, and the front pads are semi-metallic and metallic. I'm under the impression that ceramic pads give off less brake dust, last longer, but eat through rotors quicker. I'm almost under the impression that ceramic pads take a little longer to heat up to really become effective compared to metallic.
Any thoughts?
