Default ¿ Nitto NT05's ?

So I have been researching around about these tires, and I was able to find some reviews and comparisons online. But nothing really here on CL.

I think Chrisburke runs these, I was just wondering if anyone has had these tires and can leave some input about them.

I'm coming from ps2's but they are just too expensive for me, since im a college student. I wanted to replace them with something that handled pretty well. I have read the Car and Driver ps2's benchmark comparison and im aware of the hankooks v12s might be the best bang for your buck. But I really wanna run nt05s. The tread pattern just looks intense.

Also do you guys happen to know if they run big or small? My stock tire size is 255/40/18 on a 8.5 inch wide wheel. The closest size they have is 245/40/18. According to Rick from vip status nt05s run big. But i have gotten mix reviews about their sizing.

Thanks in Advance.

Lightbulb Food for thought.

IS25Heaven, here are some questions you should ask yourself (if you haven't already), answer honestly and then make your purchase based on your answer. Ok here it goes. If I am a college student and money is a major factor, should I spend this money on a tire that has a tread wear rating of only 200? Also, how many miles do I drive per year? How long will these tires last based on tread wear rating, miles driven per year and how aggressively I drive? Lastly Am I getting the most for my money? Ok with that being said if I were you, I would pick up the Hankook's since money is a factor. Also the performance, ride and sound comfort, is really good too. Just take everything into consideration and make the purchase that would make you the happiest and enjoy them. Take care man and hope this helps. Good luck.
