Right tire for 45 minute commutes size 225/40/18
I have a 1990 LS400 with 18 inch rims the tires are 225/40/18. I'm looking at some Khumo Ecsta asx or ast, are these good tires for long commutes. My budget for new tires is $500 or less, what do you guys recommend?

Presuming that you are looking for a smooth running, quiet tire...
I put on a set of Kuhmo Solus HP4's a couple weeks ago and they are very smooth and quiet. Cost me $368 OTD.
However, they are not as tight as my old Potenza's (which sounded and felt like truck tires).
Ya can't have everything...
