Has anyone been able to get Supra TT front calipers behind a set of Volk TE-37's on an IS300? The rim sizes proposed are 18"x7.5" in the front & 18"x9.5" in the rear. The widths are the only sizes that are available according to most Volk wheel distributors, but I am having difficulty trying to explain that a 9.5" wide rear wheel will fit with a saftey margin of 5/8" before it begins to touch the strut (I confirmed this by measuring the distance from the innermost lip of the rear wheel to the strut on a stock IS300 Sportcross which has an 8.5" wide rear wheel to begin with. The clearance is 1-5/8" with the OE wheel). We would just like to be able to use the widest possible wheel/tire combo because of the amount of horsepower we will have dictates it. Does anyone have any useful suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
