Default Alternative to Ceramic Pads?

Hey guys...I did try to search but still couldnt find the answer I was looking for.

Anyways I just put some Axis Ceramic pads on my GS4 and I absolutely cant stand the squeeling when I brake.

I used to get the Semi-Metallic pads but I believe those are no longer in production.

What is the best alternative to Ceramic that will not squeel? I have Cross/Drilled rotors on my car.

Thanks guys!

Axxis pads are very aggressive, so I bet if you switch to some OEM spec ceramic pad, you will hear those screeching no more.

I use to have raybestos on my old accord and it showed no fade after 1 year of hard braking, but you don't have to use them...just stay away from axxis if you want quiet ride

Thanks Kaydee. My brother in law just recommended Hawks? (Spelling). I'll start looking into something other than Axxis.

I had Stoptech Stage 2 kit on my other car before using Axis Ultimate pads, they were good, but very dusty and screeching as you mention, I end up replacing them with generic
ceramic pads from Kragens I forgot the brand name, they work just fine not as much dust
and for sure no screeching sound, it really depends on what you are looking for and buy
the set of pads that suits your needs.

yah, the whole reason they came out with ceramics was to calm down the squeal and to keep from leaving black dust... ceramics typically leave a white/gray colored dust and shouldn't squeal...
