215's fit on 7.5" wide wheels?

215's fit on 7.5" wide wheels?

Looking to use a set of '06 GS 17x7.5"s for this winter. My snow tires are 215/45/17's, will they work on 7.5" wide wheels? They usually recommends 225's with these wheels. TIA!

it will fit, but i'd double check the load rating on those tires just to make sure it's within safety margins.

Yes, just be aware that the light might be stuck on.
