I have no idea where to start. I've search a bit already, but people just show what they have; that's it. Now, what am I looking for, and exactly what type of stereo is this called? What size screen will work on my SC3 stereo bezel. It's about time I do an upgrade to the stereo. Hopefully, my interior will look newer with this setup.

I got the Pioneer AVICC-Z2. I love it, but you have to make a custom faceplate though, which isn't that hard. It's a double din, you'll have a gap w/out a custom faceplate.

Good info. Exactly what size screen am I looking at? Or is it that most of these full screen decks fit already.

i think its 7.5" but JUST GET A TAPE MEASURE

I just finished doing some more research. I believe it's a 7" screen we're talking about, but I wouldn't mind a 7.5 though, lol..

First step, go on Crutchfield, and read up. Too many options. Like, HD based, DVD-based, All-In-One, or multiple components. Limit your options, then ask questions. Your question is a bit too broad.

Just note what Romeo said, you need to fabricate a custom faceplate. IMO it's hard as hell if you don't know what you're doing and/or have no experience with Fiberglass. I'm also in SJ and looking for an install shop that can fabricate that piece.

Ditto people should look here for a starting point to have an idea what it cost what you are looking for. So you won't get had by anybody else if you were planning to go to your local stereo shop.

Usually those stereo shop are worser than car dealership. Force to make you buy their stuff.

I'm looking for a lot... DVD/CD/MP3/Backup Screen/GPS/Radio AM-FM. I think that's about it. There's a particular brand on Ebay that I'm looking at, and price seems to be pretty reasonable. I've never heard of the brand name, but I'm sure there's not much of a difference. Besides, I'm planning to remove the brand name, and customize a Lexus logo on it, lol..
