offset along is not the only factor that determines the depth of lips, though it is part of equation. however, i have seen the same style rim and same size , say 18x8.5, one is +38 standard disk, and another is +45, deep rim disk, BUT both have SAME lip depth of 75mm, ~3":eek: amazing, but true...
depends on what brand/style rims you like 19x10s will give you lips ranges from ~2"-~4", depends on offset, and disk type..some of the rims that i really like from WORK in 19x10s has 89mm(~3.5" lip), i can choose either +37, or +43 offset and still get that 3.5" lip:eek:

Im not about to pull the trigger again until I have the facts straight about what EXACTLY is offered through Work Co. Japan....

nonono...the 89mm lip is for work KH model 18x10....
here are the lip depth on equips for GS:
19x10, std A-disk +38/70 mm lip , O-disk +45/70 mm lip
20x10, std A-disk +35/75 mm, O-disk +42/75mm
