Default Michellin Pilot Sport A/S.. Worst tires EVER!!

i've got a set of these on my is350 and they have absolutely NO traction... Now that it's started raining, i've come to realize these tires are not usable... anytime i tap on the gas pedal the tires would spin out.. i have to use extra care to tap on it as lightly as i can or put it in ECT snow mode.... also, forget about making those fast right turns at red lights.... impossible... getting rid of these soon... i can't believe they sell for 279 a piece... wouldn't recommend them to anyone...

you do realize that brand new tires need to be broken-in right? Drive on them easily for the first 500 miles.....

Brand new tires have this grease or something that needs to wear off for atleast the first 500 miles. Experts, what you say??

When I first bought my car, I had a set of these tires on and they were the so quiet and smooth. They didn't give me much traction because they were almost bald.

I had a set of these and loved them. They gave me great traction in the rain. We get monsoons down here sometimes and I have always felt confident with them. Drove pretty fast too.

u sure we're talking about the same tires??? the all seasons?? i have to tap the gas lightly otherwise the wheels would spin and traction control kicks on causing my power to just shut off

Reviews at Tire Rack seem to indicate they are pretty good tires...

So....

Yes, Michelins are my favorite tire and I know them well. I consider te PS2 to be the best tire in the world. I consider the AS to be the second best.
Maybe you got a bad set. Maybe they were counterfit.

i had these tires in 245 and 275 sizes and thought they were fine. i don't go flying around corners so i pretend to know that they grip like hell and i ducked through cones in the rain, but they absolutely never slipped on me through accelerations or mild turns.

i lived in oregon...i know rain

I've never heard of outright traction problems like this with these tires...

out of curiousity, what is the date of manufacture on the tires?
