Unhappy help! On offset of my Work wheel.

Hi Guys, I have a chance get my hands on a set of Work wheels.
The spec are:

18X8.5 +31
18X9.5 +31

Will these sit flush with my fender on my SC300? I don't have tires for theis car yet, so I can't fit them on my car to test.

And what's the proper tire size for these? I am thinking 245/35/18, 265/35/18

Please help me...

In my opinion, 40 is the perfect offset for the sc for 8.5 width. For the 9.5, between 40-42.
Offsets in the 30 range may work (pun) but they will stick out quite a bit. If that's what you like then cool. I happen to believe the sc should never sray too far from the class of being a Lexus and wouldn't go that low. Plus, the sc is too big of a car for 18's. The car is 190 inches long. Those smaller wheels might looked gobbled up by the mass of the car. Again, just my opinion. Good luck.

Yeah.. I am just not a wheel offset expert..
The rims was intended for my friends widebody 240sx...
I was hoping these will fit since they are discoutinued and he only wants 900 for it without tires.
And my Sc comes with OEM 18' IS350 which have tires size of 225/40/18, 255/40/18 and I was thinking just swap the tires and I am done... ( I always have 19' work wheels on all of my cars, but 18' Work 3 piece wheels is sexier than OEM IS350, right?
but anyways, They don't work unless I roll the fenders is what you mean?
Even with smaller tires from the IS?
Please help.
Thanks.
