Default Wheel protectant?

I finally got around to polishing up my wheels because the clear coat was coming off. It's got a nice mirror finish after sanding it down with 2000 grit and hitting it with aluminum polish. Now all I'm worried the exposure it's going to get. Does anyone know of any products I can use to protect these wheels?

I have always put 2 coats of good wax on all my aftermarket wheels. This seems to work very well in protecting and ease of cleaning.
