Default Black Chrome Wheel (!?)

Came across this picture wasting time at work this morning. Looks almost like hematite, seriously cool.

those would look super sick on a Black GS! Who does that process and how do I get ahold of them?!!

why do you say it looks photoshopped? I dont think it does and am looking at the chrome version for my silver GS, but may want to soncsider a black chrome is available.

The website I found it on is www.calchrome.com

Its under the black chrome section in plating services. Theyre selling it, so Im guessing it wasnt photoshopped

Even manufacturers such as Boss have the black chrome wheels available...
I'd take a pic with my camera phone right this second, but it's being retarded and won't let me upload pics (gotta call tech on that)...

anyways, they are even fairly cheap... The Boss wheels I have here in the shop are beautiful 6 spoke wheels...

I've been wanting to get the centers of my wheels black chromed and the lips that are polished done in real chrome

pricing on their website says rims 19" and under are $225 each... DOH! They sure do look cool, though!

The guy I spoke with today said the 4 would be $1600 before tax and shipping for the outright purchase.

The total would look more like $1800 complete. I dont know if that's all that great of a deal at this point. He said he had one set left and they only do them every so often as they have to do like 4 sets at a time to make it worth it.

Alot of the aftermarket manufacturers are also offering black chome. DCR / ZONE / MODULARE come to mind off the top of the head.

Im actually in the process of doing an exchange with those guys. Not for black chrome unfortunately, but the regular chrome looks killer on the same wheel.

i actually did see black chrome at the lexus dealership. i believe they do have black chromed rims.
