Default BEST OFFSET for 20" Rims.

I had 20x8.5 et 38 and 20x10 et 42 before on IS350. Rubbed in the front on turns with 225x30x20 tires. Although I did not roll or pull the fenders, I want to make sure that this time....there are no problems.

I am planning on lowering the car on Tein/Tanabe Springs...very mild..maybe just minimal..

I have a machine shop that can shave the wheels down. What is best offset for front, and best for rear? Thanks.

i dont suggest shaving much off the back of the wheel since it will probably compromise the integrity of the wheel. im actually running a 20x8.5 with +38 offset on a 225/35/20. It originally rubbed the fender liners on turns, but once took a heat gun and pushed them out it doesnt rub and my car is lowered about 1.75" in the front. just mod the fender liners and you'll be fine. a 225/30/20 is shorter than a 225/35 so you'll be fine.

Heat guns are actually pretty cheap and can be purchased at your local hardware store
