Default Aspect Ratio for 19's

For 19's, wouldn't 235/40/19 go just as well with 275/35/19 as 245/40's? I usually see the 245/275 combination instead.

If i understand correctly,

275 x .35 = 96.25
235 x .4 = 94.0
245 x .4 = 98.0

So they are both about the same difference from the 275/35.

I am looking for tires on my 19 x 8.5 35mm and 19 x 9.5 45 mm wheels. I am little worried about rubbing and I think the 235/40/19 may be just enough smaller to where it isn't an issue.

Or does 235/40/19 go better with 265/35/19
265 x .35 = 92.75 I guess that is a little closer.

Maybe I should just go for the 245/275 combination and quit worrying about it.

Any suggestions?

you have to match the overall diameters of the stock wheel/tire combo with the aftermarket combo so you can minimize error in the speedometer

I've currently got 285/35/19 (rear) and 245/40/19 (front) and I'm having no rubbing issues whatsoever except when backing out or doing a full lock turn whilst creeping forward. Otherwise no rubbing issues whatsoever . Rear has 1 finger gap on stock suspension and front has about 2 1/2 - 3 finger gap...just need to get some money over to Jeff for his coilovers now.

Speedo is off by 5mph, but as long as you keep an eye on the speedo when you're near cameras you're all good .

Depends on the tire brand but 235/35 and 275/30 match up better for the overall diameter. With your rims you are looking at I would say a +35 offset for the rear would be better then the +45.

technically 245 is better match with 275, and 245 is better match with 285. but that also depends on the width of rims you putting the tires on, whether there are stretching or not, etc...

Huh? Rom?

I like the pairs as 235/275 and 245/285 with preference to the 245/285 combo.
