Recommended tire size for 06 GS300 with 18'' wheels.
Does anyone know why the 18'' tire size recommended by Tirerack for GS300 and
GS300AWD is 235/45/18?
The GS430's is 245/40/18.
When I add the diameters of the recommended GS300 tire + wheel, it winds up being
quite a bit larger than the GS430's!!!! Does this not throw off the speedometer by too
large a factor?
A few members who did upgrade their GS300's to 18'' are using the 245/40/18.
GS300AWD is 235/45/18?

The 245s will be closer to OEM size. The difference in speedo is under 3%. This is not bad seeing that the 2GS had 215/60/16 tires as an option. This tire gives you similar size to the 235/45s.
