Volk Racing GT-C
Hello Everyone ! I am new here and I don't own a 2006 GS 300, but my dad does. Well I am having a problem right now. My dad just bought a set of GT-C, and he already installed the rims. The problem is the this the offset is not right.
The fronts are 19X8.5 offset 27
The rears are 19X9.5 offset 24
The fronts fit fine, but the rear sticks out like crazy. He's planning to lower the car and the tire shop said it will be fine after is lower, but from what i can tell even if i roll the fender is not going to work. So i'm just wondering if anyone had this probl***? Any advice will help. Cuz if is not going to work out I have to figure out a way to change the rears. It does look good in the back because it sticks out, but is to much.
p.s. Also I am in HK, not in the states.
thank you.

sounds like very aggressive offset there, not sure if the rear will make it even if you roll fenders. maybe with stretch tires and put in some negative camber
even with the front, if you lower the car a lot to 1 finger gap, i think it might rub a bit on the outside
with the roads in hk, i am not sure about stretched tires
btw, lei ho!

Lei Ho ! I used to live in the bay area. Anyway the offset if very aggressive and espeically in the rear. I really don't know how it's going to clear the rear even if i roll the fender. The lip does look good, but is to much. Now I have headache for my dad. Really have to figure something out.

That's to hardcore for my dad. I think those rims are already to hardcore for him. Anyway I'm just getting some tein springs for his car. I'm going to bring the car to the shop and see what they are going to do about it. Looking at it just gives me headache.
