20" tire.. gone
i somehow end up with a nail in my tire.. i went to closest place to fix it, and i told the guy to be careful and not to scratch my 20" chrome rim.. he said we do it very careful but we can not be responsible but he'll do hes best.. so when they were trying to take off tire from the rim he put a big *** hole on it.. and now he saying i told you we can not be responsible and this things happens with low profile all the time..
i'm so pissed its not even funny! this tire will cost me at least $300 plus its better to put 2 same tires so i have to spend at least $600 now..
#$%#%$# i dont know what to do!

yeah it's always the risk i guess low profile tires like 19s and 20s, they are so thin and the sidewall is so stiff and hard to work with, a lot of times when they try to take it off they crack it or damage it. that's why unless you get a very experienced shop, it's really possible that they can damage the tire... very bad indeed

Next time, try to find a shop with a Corghi Artiglio Master mounting machine.
These are the coolest things since sliced bread- they don't even touch the rim (they hold the wheel through the lug holes). They are essentially automated, and have nylon wheels & arms which to the mounting/dismounting. I have never heard of a tire being damaged with one of these machines.
Not many shops have them because they are bout $14,000...
