Fender scrapin problem ! HELP ME !!
Hi everyone !! I bought a brand new 04 IS300 recently and got a set of staggered 18 Volk racing wheels with wider rear tires. My plan is to get some new coilovers, but having majot probs with scrapin here !!
Did anyone take their ISs to shops or dealers to get their fenders rolled or cut ????? I want to get that done before lowering my ride. I prefer to get it done professionally, but have no clue where to go !!
I'm located in Orange County, California ! Thanks for your time and input.

i suggest shaving. rolling on the lexus isn't that good, easily chip paint. shaving is safe and easy. i did the shaving on my gs4 myself, very easy actually, 1/2 hour and i was done.
i already replied your pm
i hope it's only the back rubbing. if the front is rubbing it's a lot harder to fix, and sometimes you just can't fix it

Thanks Henry, I will call them and find out !!
IRV_USC : I got a 18X8 front and 18 X9 rear. (Volk Racing GTU) Front ones are perfect with no scrapin, just the back ones.
Like Romini said, maybe I should think about cuttin, not rollin ?!?!?!?!
Thanks

what tire sizes are you running?
also, i know luxurymotorworks in monrovia can work on your fenders, if need be. someone on .NET swore their fenders were done perfectly...
you might want to check out is300.net, in the wheels/tires section for more info... (but irv can probably answer all of your questions. )

most likely the offset in the rear is too low. it seems that the japanese wheel companies always try to give you a 18x8 18x9 staggered setup as a recommendation, but the offset on the rear wheel is always a bit low. a preferred staggered setup should be 18x7.5 and 18x8.5. that size wheel would fit the IS much better...
i would just shave the fender and be done with it.
rolling can be done safely, it takes a lot more work, and less places are willing to risk it.
anyhow, i know a bit about these wheels since i was very very close to getting a set before getting the manarays i'm running now.

Romini : One of my employee was playin with my computer and fixed those avatar and other stuff......I'll have him reduce it ! I have NO clue with that comp set up and stuff !!
My 18 rear wheels lined up perfect with the fenders, not like stickin out or anything. I like it, obviously, b/c its width give you that WIDE apearance with fat lip, ya know !!!! We'll see.....
Thanks for your help.
