Default CKS vs SWIFT coils

I am chatting up with Steven at Mod In Japan on getting these CSKs but I have a few questions for anyone who may have had these put on their vehicles to perhaps give me their feedback or opinion before I make a final decision;

I have a 2015 GS 350 base stock wheels 18s I believe- 43K - and the factory KYB Gas Adjust has got to go to the trash as I cant bare it any longer. Unsure why Lexus makes a $50K car and puts these on it .

My concerns:

1- Swift coils vs CKS coils what would be the benefit of SWIFT over CKS ??

2- Does SWIFT ride a bit softer than CKS coils? is it worth the extra cost ?

3- I am on the fence between going 12/10 CKS or 14/10 Swift - not looking for a harsh ride , I dont plan to track this car, but like to have a tight subtle ride with adjustable dampening yet not go bouncing off every little man hole or crack over street roads, and looking to keep it 1/2 inch below stock height. any suggestions on this?

Cheers....

Swift Coil overs, not springs.

He is referring to using the stock springs that come with the CKS coilovers vs purchasing the Swift Springs upgrade to the coilovers.

Swift doesn't make coilovers, only springs. I had RSR coils on my GS. If I had to do it again, I'd do CKS coilovers with stiffer spring rate 12/10. The RSR spring rate were too soft for my liking.

Finally got the CKS COs in, went with swift 10/8 since this is a daily driver and im not tracking this gs350 or doing anything crazy with it. This car is pretty vanilla. I found the 12/10 a bit harsh for daily driving, drop wise im only at half inch to .75 below stock, I did have to modify the bottom strut monuts for the fronts to ride closer to stock height . Overall the CKS s are a good choice and ride very nice, The CKS springs aren't bad either but I may try those later. Or go 12/10 swift if I get tired of this setup. I did put the Toms strut bar and a trunk bar. Body lean is minimized.

Big thanks to Steven at MIJ for all the help, all in all, its money well spent for a nice subtle ride yet predictable and responsive to the driver.
