Exclamation I need help with GS430 Suspension!

Hey guys, I've been browsing this sight and I simply cannot find the answer to what I am looking for! I have a 2006 GS430 with the adaptive suspension, and I need to replace all four corners. I have searched but cannot find a solid answer. My question is, what options are there for replacing the struts front and rear that will bolt up? I've read that people have been able to find KYB units fro other models/years but I can't find which ones they are. I don't really care about the electronic aspect of the suspension, I really just want a smooth ride. I've seen that there are coil-overs available, but I'm not trying to go that route. If this question has been answered please forgive me! For the life of me I cannot get a solid answer! Thanks so much!

Hey Zach, I was in same exact position w/my ‘06 GS430 RWD a week ago. I found the answer here on ClubLexus and I’ll forward the link if I can find it.

Oddly, when searching for the ‘06 430 struts many sites say “doesn’t fir your vehicle”, however, if you use, say ‘07, you’ll find them. I believe the reason is all 3G GS 430’s use the same struts.

In that thread it was unanimously agreed upon that the following parts/part numbers work.

SolutionSummary from that thread:
KYB seems to be the preferred OEM Mfg and at one point, possibly Lexus’ supplier.
Parts # (struts only/without coil overs)
Front left and right - KYB 551106 and 551107
Rear (both sides) - KYB 551108

Google the part numbers, you’ll see numerous suppliers. Just pay attention to the part numbers before ordering. I bought mine on Amazon. About $85 each.

Hope this helps and I welcome any comments from more experienced shoppers!
