New here, advice needed.

Need to replace the struts on my 07 GS350 (AWD) and my mechanic recommended that I pick up a complete strut assembly if possible. Much to my surprise, I am having trouble finding any online, whether new or used.

Is anyone aware of where I can find these? Would buying coilovers be a dumb alternative solution to this problem if I couldn't find any?

Your mechanic want to do a simple replacement and not take out the factory strut mount, spring to replace only the strut.

There are many places to find oem struts but they are costly.
