Do you want your car to handle better on the road? Coil-overs with soft springs, not stiff springs...along with strut tower bracing and firm suspension bushings.
Can you see the 'give' from the springs in Ken Block's Mustang (below)? They are not rock hard stiff by any means...
You do not want a soft spring on a lowered car for all the reasons noted at the end of the video (bottoming out, body-roll). A good spring/coil-over should have a properly tuned spring that increases stiffness just enough to reduce bottoming out, reduce body roll and still maintain a comfortable ride. The lower your ride height, the stiffer you'll need the spring to prevent bottoming out.
