Default In need of feedback from members that lowered on SPRINGS

Hello CL
I couldnt get any help from the 3rd gen GS350 suspension forum so I decided to post this on the 4th gen GS forum to get some help, hopefully this will not causing any issue.
Im still debating whether I drop my GS350 AWD with coilovers or springs.
I just really want a mild drop which the TANABE NF210 or F SPORT springs provide just the right drop amount that I want after seeing some of the members are running on these springs and reporting that there is minor to no vibration, wobbling issues with these springs.
I have 49K miles on my ride, if i drop it with the springs i will go another 50K miles on stock struts with aftermarket springs.
What are the chances of the stock struts will go bad in about 2 years or so?
Any members running on these springs please provide some feedback.

1. the type of springs
2. the duration of running on them and how is the suspension holding up
3. any premature tire wearing and ride quality on these springs

ur contribution is much appreciated

I first lowered my car on the tanabe springs.. I felt no wobble or vibration.. It pretty smooth actually, but I upgraded to the accuair system and there is a wobble, but the camber kit fixed that.. But I would recommend the tanabe or the RSR coilovers to lower the car.

One thing to take into consideration, if your shocks start failing, no-one is responsible. With coilovers you have warranty. I had a super bad experience with springs, they lowered more then specs said and my shocks started failing one by one. When my coiloversset finally arrived three shocks were busy failing (knocking or leaking). Next to that rubbing drove me crazy.

I must mention that I have the GS450h and that the hybrid has a lot of extra weight. I have J5 coilovers now and am very impressed. But it does harden the ride.

I just got my rsr super downs installed. Springs are only a stepping stone for me, I too plan on upgrading to coil overs when I save up enough funds. I'm am expecting in the next 1-2 years as I don't think the stock shocks will hold up.

If money is no issue - I reccomend going coil overs for the adjustability of the spring and shock.
