Default Air Runner Complete!

It took me a couple months of tinkering on my days off and then yesterday I finally got the struts and elevel sensors installed. Total of about 8 hours which I don't think is bad for a first timer. The ride is really smooth, some thumps from the struts that I'll need to inspect on my test ride to and from work today, and after sitting overnight all air was exhausted so I'll have some leak inspection to do this weekend. Here are some pictures for your eye socket pleasure!

looks nice! for leaks, use a spray bottle with soapy water. i had air ride on a previous car and that helped pinpoint the leaks quickly

Thanks for all the compliments! I'm still working to diagnose the hollow thumping that i'm getting from all 4 corners and I'm hoping that any of you guys can shed some light. Prior to installing the struts I replaced all of the top hat bushings. I've got an email into Shin at Airrunner to see if there is a certain torque spec for that nut. Other than that, I plan on greasing every suspension joint on all 4 corners and keep my fingers crossed. I'm quite certain that the struts are not blown as I don't 'feel' any of the bumps in the road, ride is silky smooth, I just 'hear' this thumping noise. It also sounds like the bags are bumping around. Maybe this is typical of air ride that i'm just not aware of, so if thats the case, phew!

Which route u go strut wise? I bet something its loose, u might have to go over everything and see what's loose! When I did mine it did something similar but it was the shaft from the strut to the top hat. If u get an Allen wrench and a open end wrench ull b able to tighten it down good. That's what fix my problem hope it fixes urs!

Just the basic struts. I'll give those nuts a tightening and see if it helps

SCORE. Tightened all 4, some were frighteningly loose under the weight of the car, and the ride is gloriously quiet. I'll recheck in a few days as the bushings settle, but life is good now, thanks!
