I have an '09 GS350 AWD with 120k miles. The rear shocks are starting to leak and sag, so time to replace. Can anyone recommend a good brand? KYB? Something else?
*Also F-Sport from Lexus, made by Bilstein
Don't know anyone that has replaced these on OE springs. Lexus says you can do this, but have not seen it done. I might try!
on my 08 AWD I replaced just the rear only as those are the only aftermarket available for the AWD. I went with KYB and they are the exact same as OEM.
Justsuspension.com I ended up using 2 coupon codes plus they were on sale at the time. I spent like $100-120 delivered for the 2 rears.
A lot of people loved it when they swapped over to Coilovers. You can do that too for, adjustability (in comfort or sportiness) AND you get a longer reliability than OEM. That's personal preference and experience though, coming from a person who's OEM struts blew out on him @ 40-50k miles (unknown as I kinda rode on them for a loooong looooong time).
Gokou... do you know of anyone with an AWD that put coilovers on and kept near stock ride height?
I've considered the BC Racing coilovers for this purpose, however I have not seen it done.
*I've edited my original post... I forgot the only other set of shocks for our cars. :-P
F sport shocks are not available for awd models. Also kyb shocks are not available for awd as per
Tirerack. You are kind of stuck with oem.
They are available for AWD models.
The Lexus dealer and I cross checked part #s against the IS part numbers. They work.
There are a couple threads on this.

You can most definitely keep stock height or near stock height. The sole reason most people don't do it is because they like the lowered look. I would have kept mine's stock height if I didn't go air. The bottom of my car is 98% unmolested. Even my installer is still shocked I didn't hit any dips bumps or curbs with the vehicle on air (had a air line leak and just got it repaired today).
I very much would like to lower my car just to get rid of that humongous gap between the tire and wheel arch. Nothing too drastic.
Can anyone recommend a good coilover package?
ibidu1; which copes did you use to bring the price down so low?

Its been so long, I dont remember the codes. But I just simply googled "just suspension coupon code" At the time they were running a sale on the KYB and free shipping plus coupon code.
I wish they sold the AWD for the fronts. You maybe able to use IS250 AWD front, because you can use Fsport AWD shocks off an IS250. So it should fit, but I dont know how well the valving would be.

Get the BCRs (BC Racing), the consensus of us have it and we love it. Contact CircuitMS (phone or PM) to work on pricing, they're LITERALLY the best pricing I've seen on the internet. GL!
