Anyone have pictures on how to cut BC Coilover Rear Extenders
Hi CL!
I have searched the forum and I did find a posting on how to cut the rear extenders. But does anyone have a step by step on how to proceed on cutting the extenders?
Thanks in advance!

I don't have'em, but if you take a snapshot, I can look at'em and see if I can show you have to shorten them. You can always jump onto the BMW boards and see how they cut theirs .

heres a pic another member posted in the 2IS forum. this is how the extenders come
i thought about ordering them as well until i noticed how long they are. for the few times that i needed to adjust the dampening, i just reached my hand behind the carpet in the trunk to adjust them.

Yes they are extremely long for my taste and look. I also seen this picture and a picture of one that was shorten that seated flush ontop of the carpet. But without shaving or cutting them down it sticks up about an extra 2inchs. I forgot what post it was that gave directions on how to cut them, but I work better with pictures on a how to step by step. I know it consist of taking the **** off, marking how much you want to cut, and I believe cutting it with a dermal, but it seems way to simple without messing it up...https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif

Dang, I know how I would attempt to shorten mine's, but you should definitely hit up the BMW forums, maybe they can show you a step-by-step.... Have you checked youtube? I would go on a scavenger hunt for you but my bandwidth is at like 50kbps.... Downloading my lectures for school right now.
