if the coilovers are not significantly lighter than stock shocks, then I'll likely forgo this option.
You would have to wait for Tein coilovers, they usually come with EDFC ( Electronic Damping Force Controller )

But that still would not run through the *** in your car, it would be its own little box inside the car.

The front struts on AWD models are different.

If they listed different parts number then it's likely different. They would have used the same parts if it fit.

Guys,

I found two items 32 way and 15 way

first one: 32 way

second one: 15 Way

also note the spring rate for both. I'm not familiar with the quality of these coilovers. Can anyone explain or link to explaination of one coil over another? I'm not up to date on coilover technology.

With these coilovers, are you able to get your alignment back to factory specs or will you also run into the negative camber issues like the posting by Chuh with the RS*R Springs?

Coilovers have adjustable height, so that would depend on how low you decide to take them.

Understood. I suppose I should have asked the question of how much of a drop can you achieve before you run into the issue of NOT being able to have the alignment back to factory specs and eating up tires? I don't see the trade off on looks vs tire cost until the other vendors come out with a camber kit for the 4GS. If someone could advise on how low they were able to drop their car and still get factory specs on alignment it would help a lot of members on making that decision of coilovers vs springs for Pro's and Con's. Having owned previous M3's and a M6 over the years before making the switch to Lexus, I was not really concerned about the fender wheel gap look until I mounted my 3pc wheels to say it definitely needed to be lowered. 8-) Thanks in advance!
