Default Drop + Camber combo

I'm planning on installing a set of HKS coils on my GS450H this weekend and was searching to see if there were any threads on drop plus camber kit combo. I have read that some have dropped their cars and was able to still maintain semi-factory specs sans a camber kit...while others have bought the FIGS and Megan rear camber kit and the ISX50 front adjustable camber.

I'm curious as to what is the "point" of no return that will require a camber kit. 1"? 1.5"? Input and pics would be great

~ 2" or slightly less will keep you just in tolerance so you won't have any wear issues if they set the TOE correctly. I think its more preference for most of the members. Only a handful are low enough that they really need it.

Being you have the Hybrid I would make sure the suspension parts are the same with the added weight from the battery on the back. I would think they are the same but worth checking before you purchase. If you decide to get I suggest Figgs over the Megan. Quality of his work blows Megan away IMO. I also sent Figgs my parts when I was test fitting the other parts.

Thanks for your input Passnu. I plan on dropping the car no more than 1.5" so we'll see about the camber/toe. Does the GS have decent toe adjustability from the factory?

Agree on your assessment between Figgs and Megan. You pay for what you get is true. In terms of the hybrid and suspension issue, the heavy battery in the trunk is one of the main reasons I didn't go with the spring set up. I picked up Alex's HKS coils so that will go on soon.

This will likely depend on your wheel/tire combo.
