So I my buddy and I just installed my coilover yesterday.. it took the total time of 8 hours.. I spent a lot of time with removing the factory struts and adjusting the ride height because this was my first time working with coilovers..
I also had a lot of problems with getting some bolts out from the front suspension:
The “Y” arm that goes around the strut gave me the most difficulties.. Bolts were behind the spring/strut itself. You can’t get a socket wrench behind it to take it out. So I had to use a wrench to get the bolts off it thread. Then the bolt got stuck on the spring because they were in its way out. After spending a hour sticking a flat head screw driver to the bolt and hitting with a hammer my buddy started to twist the bolt with his hand and got it out. Hope no one has to experience this and read this first.
The other problem we came across was AFS sensor.. Luckily I remembered there was a whole thread about this, I got my Ipad and read up on it. Here is the link:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...-nf210s-3.html
My first impression:
I think the ride is great, feels so close to factory
I love how I can adjust the car to factory ride height if I wanted to
I am experiencing some wobble when I accelerate.. Has anyone else experienced this?
I am thinking of shaving my rear fenders because it rubs on bumps

Here is some picks I took with my iPhone, I will have some pictures with my DSLR next week.. stay tuned

Thanks.. When I was experiencing with the ride height on coilovers I slammed the car. It looked amazing. I was thinking of going lower but I live in nj. The car would rub too much. My goal was to Elimate that ugly 4 inch wheel gap. And I figure it would get lower when the springs break in. So.

Definitely need to lower another inch, tuck the top of the rear tire and leave 1/8 gap between the top of the front tire and the top of the fender well arch.

I feel being that low would make it rub. Am I wrong?

How do you get the AFS to stop flashing? I just installed BC coilovers on my ISF and now AFS is flashing...I think my buddy moved the sensor when he was installing the driver side rear coilover...is there a fix besides the dealer??

yeah there is, your buddy flipped it backwards, have to just simply flip the sensor arm the other way and it should go away

the right is close to stock when i run the stock wheels on them, and their is barely no wobble when i run stock wheels.. but when i put on my 20's i get wobbles at 70mph and pick up.. im trying to change up my tires to see if that helps..

to be honest nothing will be smooth as lexus oem setup, adding coilovers no matter what the brand will make a difference.. looking back i wish i did the RCA setup, but they didnt have them when i did my install.. I really dont slam the car because being in nj and it kills my tires.. I went through my tires in 6 months when i had the car slammed.. it looked amazing but the ride was horrible you felt every bump, i lost a wheel well, and the bottom was so scratched up from being bottlem out.. Im hoping the tire size change will help out with the ride, ill update you guys in the summer

looks awesome! how easy is it to adjust the height after it's installed? and how can you tell how much you're lowering when adjusting them?
