Its this place called performance tuning in Manassas, VA. They are reputable. I'll shop around a little more. $300 would be ideal price for me.

Bimori, I have F-Sport Springs installed on a 2007 GS350 AWD and have been very happy. No vibration No Wobbles and drastic improvement in handling. Granted its not the "slammed" look that our West coast brothers can pull off but I'm just glad not to have the 4X4 look anymore

Actually I think its more then an 1" drop for us AWDs because that's the specs F-Sports gives for the RWD. Stock Height I measured 3.2" Dropped Height 1.2" approx. I was thinking about BC Coils but didn't want to make 1K investment +install to go crazy with wobbles\vibs F-Sport springs was the safest bet.

Good luck and IMO $425 is very high for the install make sure to shop around.

Bimori, if you are talking $425 for the springs and install out the door, that isn't too bad. Taking into what 187 said (install $50 per spring/strut), so $200 for install and an additional $225 for the springs. Not the best deal, but not super high.

I would check with other members in your area. There may be somebody who would do it for you cheaper, or direct you to a location with better deals.

Something to consider too, my experience with lowering cars is, the lower you go, the rougher it can be (in general). Of course, if you spend more money and purchase spring/strut coilovers, you can get some of the comfort back. IMO, if you are looking for a near stock ride but want a little lower stance, I would go with the F-sport or Tanabe NF210 springs. They only lower the car an inch and you still have a near stock ride. Like other CL members have said though, read through the suspension thread and you will get a better idea of what situation would be best for you.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. . I ordered the F-Sports springs from Sewell today. Shopped around a little more for installation, someone else gave me a quote of between $255-$400. I'll keep looking .

Any pros or cons to doing it immediately vs waiting?

not really much but its ideal to give the springs some time to settle. you can do it as soon as its done or wait, doesnt matter.
