Default Sways

I'm not sure how many peeps....took advantage of the sale. I sure did and received my Sways....Friday.

I was "lucky" to check the bushings to see if they are the NEW stock (ZD stamp).

Good thing I looked.....it had the OLD "AB" STAMP code....

I called....and they will Fedex overnight the ZD bushing to my residence....

Figured I would share...my thoughts...

The website...posts "old stock" removed......

Yeah. It's not Sewell's fault. They cleared out their old stock. Unfortunately the clowns at Lexus are still shipping new sways with the old "AB" part.

I have driven my car with the ZD bushings installed, its totally solid. No noise at all. The sways are good. Not a night and day improvement, but a noticeable improvement. The car drives really well.

i would say drive the car for another week (at least the same amount of time as you had with the previous AB bushings), and include that data in your complaint to lexus. they can't deny that piece of information, unless they actually choose to not believe you

I have to agree that it totally fixed the issue with my car as well and I am running 42 psi in my tires. I feel that the car felt a little more firm. I am a happy camper

Have to agree. Had the Sway Bar bushings replaced 3 weeks ago. GREAT improvement. The knocking noise at low speeds with even small bumps in the road was driving me crazy. No noise that I've heard since. Feels tighter but it could be my imagination because I'm not annoyed by the noise anymore and can focus on tighter cornering.

It was weird. I gave my dealer a hardcopy of the TSIB from the link on this site and they told me that it wasn't covered because my car was out of the original warranty. I had to call Corporate because the same dealer installed my sway bars so it was supposed to be covered within the first year. That got the ball rolling and everything was done quickly from that point onwards. I wish these things were "just done upon TSIB confirmation" without having to spend our own personal time making Corporate/Dealer honor their own warranty.
