DJ in this pic you will notice that the bottom of the spring sits snug into that plate but that plate (for lack of a better technical term) isn't sitting in the groove of the main plate of the strut(look just to the left of the spring). I also don't know what damage can be caused by this but know that when I installed my NF instructions stated to make sure it sat in that groove. Maybe someone else more knowledgeable than me can elaborate (i apologize).

Well yeah it's leased but Lexus owned me some money so I got the goodies for free and a body put them on so all in all didn't spent any so it's worth it!

JUST My sways installed toooo!!! amazing feeling 40 bucks at my local shop. take out engine cover take out old put in new same way... everyone should get it
