spoke to tein about coilovers for awd.
hey what's up guys. so i just got off the phone with tein speaking to him about coilovers. i told them that there are a lot of people out there with awd that want to drop there car on coilovers. i asked him if they can make me something instead of waiting on everyone to ask. he told me that i will have to go to queens to rct performance so they will weigh my car check the size of the shocks and e.t.c . rct will send tein the results and tein can work on a coilover for my gs awd. humm lets see how it goes
Your definition of "a lot" is probably not enough for them to put forth the effort to design, develop and specify AWD lowering springs for manufacturing in high volume. If you think about it, the ratio of GS AWD owners that want to lower their cars compared to RWD owners is probably significantly high. Probably the only GS AWD owners that want to lower their suspension are on clublexus, which may not be that high in numbers.
I'm surprised that there is nothing spec'd for the GS460 RWD?
For you to be fully satisfied with your cars performance and looks, you may consider trading it in for a sportier AWD sedan/suv in which aftermarket suspension parts have been specified, tested, proven and are readily available?

there is a new vendor that did this for the IS, I wonder if they can use any of that for the GS to make it work and probably in there best interest since they put a lot of work and time into this for the IS250 awd model? I would check them out and send them a PM...
BC company just made coilovers for AWD IS. I think if you speak to them directly, you'll get BC coils for AWD GS alot faster than from Tein guys. I have not heard of BC, but apperantely its well known among Infiniti drivers...
they don't need the car to make coilovers, all they need is the weight of the car, measure the shocks and check the weight of the compression of the springs to make coilovers for us. the thing is i don't know how long it will take them to work on it man.
