I'm doing some preliminary research to determine which Tein CST coilovers I should get for my GS 450h. According to Tein USA price list, the CST for both the GS 430 and GS 300 (both '06+) is part # GSL82-K1SS3. Looks like both have the same spring rate, which seems odd (ie: isn't the 430 with the V8 engine heavier, and thus a different spring rate is required? hmm...)

Anyhoo, can someone advise if this is the same part # I would need to order for my 450h? Any comments appreciated. Link below:

that's not odd. first of all i thought the 430 is lighter? but either way the weight is relatively negligible

same with the 2gs, gs300 and gs400/430 all use the same tein setup

 

so i can use the same cst tein coilover that '06+ gs300/430 use for the 450h? just want to make sure!

 

well, from what i was told, that's what people use. but as usual, keep in mind i have never tried myself
