I have a little over 2000 miles on my 08 gs350. Every time I go over a speed bump or a bump in the road the shocks/struts squeek. Is this normal? Ive never had this noise from my other cars unless the shock was bad. The car is pretty darn new for this. Is anyone else hearing these noises? or is it just me?

 

no it's not normal, have it checked out

 

a typical noise like that coming from the suspension when you go over bumps is the sign of bad strut mounts. can you hear this from a particular side of the car or certain corner?

 

Do you know which shocks are making a squeak noise? It's normal to hear a fluid noise or a hiss noise when the shock compress/decompresses over a bump.

 

I cant single one side out, but i def hear it from the inside of the car. I am having the dealer check it out tomorrow.
