Looks very GOOD! Its funny because I have an 06GS300 as well and was rolling around on the "ugly" 17's until I just picked up a set of the 18's from a fellow CL member and I'm loving them now! Question.....how bad is your alignment off now that you have the NF's on? I want to drop my car because rolling around in the 4x4 isnt cool but I dont wanna mess with negative camber anymore!

Rims/Tires Dealer Install $100
Springs - $165 from CL member
Springs Install - $340
Results - priceless

There are several on the board that i sent to Lexus that didn't help either. Their solution was to just replace them with new ones.. Not sure if i can get a shot or not w/o the car jacked up or on a lift.. will see if i can..

I assume we went to the same dealer unless you visited the one just across the river.
I never go to performance lexus! I've gone there in the past and i could walk around the lot for an hour and no one would talk to me.. sure, i may look like i'm 25 but i even pull in in a Lexus or even the Porsche and still nothing.. I used to live in Dayton (Centerville, by Yankee Trace) 5min from Lexus of Dayton.. They treated me like gold when I pulled in with my Pontiac! 10 yrs ago to buy my first Lexus when i WAS 25! I have since bought 4 cars from them and as long as i live within 100mi of them, will continue to do so.. I go there for all my service as well and they are the best for that. Another thing I don't like about performance lexus is their service desk looks like a GM service desk, Lexus of Dayton service looks like my living room.. I see that performace is building a new dealership behind Target (bad location IMO) that is supposed to be pretty sweet, hopefully a new staff will come with it. The bonus though is that Porsche is buying the old Lexus dealership Lexus of Dayton still has them beat though, they just built a huge dealership just for their Used/Certified cars alone, then tore up the old one and rebuilt it as well, so they have two! As for across the river, I haven't gone there yet, it's actually farther than driving to Lex of Day.. I've also heard rumors that even though they just built that one, it may be demolished to make way for the new 75/71 bridge.. wonder who planned that

I did have them do an alignment after the spring install, suprisingly they said the camber wasn't off by much at all even before the alignment which corrected it anyway. I hear ya though, my Porsche Boxster had H&R springs with 1/2 spacers on the rears and i replaced the rear tires annually as the inside tread disappeard very quickly.. When we drove to Blowing Rock, NC to attend the BRBS (www.brbs.org) on a fresh set of tires, there was rubber 'dust' on the back of the car by the time we got there, specially with it loaded down with luggage.. We still go but now we take the Lex and rent a Turbo once we're there from http://www.clubferdinand.us . If you ever have an itch to drive a Porsche of any kind through some of the best mountain roads in the country, Talk to Henri at Club Ferdinand, he'll set you up at one of his Inns and with a Porsche of your choosing.. mention my name and maybe he'll give you a discount

Ron,

Thanks for the reply.

Although I have taken my ’06 GS430 to Performance a couple of times for only warranty work, I originally bought the car from the good folks at Lexus of Dayton too. I tried to work out a deal with Performance on a 2007 IS350 but they would little to nothing to work with me so I bailed. I then drove across the river and had a deal worked out on a 2008 IS350 special order but never did feel right about having been forced to buy either a previously allocated car or have to wait four months for a car I actually wanted to arrive from Japan so I looked around on the web for options. Luckily, I found a 12,000 mile Matador Red Mica with Cashmere GS430 at Lexus of Dayton’s Certified (they say it is the only stand-alone pre-owned location in the country) pre-owned store. I drove the 30 minutes to see the car and their staff treated me extremely well from minute one. The GS was in perfect shape, looked like new, drove like new, had every option but radar cruise but still only cost similar money to the IS350 is was looking to buy, so I bought it. And am I ever glad I did move up to the GS, it is so much more car than the IS.

Yeah, the new Performance building will have a fitness facility, a day care center, etc. for their customers but I still won’t be rushing down to buy my next Lexus from them until they change their attitude toward their customers.

does anyone here have Eibach's? Was thinking of getting the NF210s too at first, but have a friend who can get me a great deal on Eibach's.

I just got my 07 GS350 last Friday!! Was thinking of not doing much, but couldn't pass up my friend's prices. So if anyone wants the 18" stocks, I'll probably won't be needing them soon either.

Kuch... I wanted to know how long you had the springs installed or how many miles have you gone before they were pretty much settled?

Car looks fabulous and is the number one cosmetic improvement. However, if you're experience is like mine and others get ready for abnormal tire wear, which WILL get under your skin. Not sure how the shop aligned the camber "within specs" as it's NOT ADJUSTABLE. The sheer geometry change forces a camber change (as wheel goes up, camber goes negative, like this:

I'm Bitter- party of one cause no one ever talks about this.
