Firstly, Thought I was with it but guess not. What are coilcovers? Are they inserts of some type? Where can we get them? Do you have a pic? tanks!

and secondly, Im afraid to do the DF's because I still beleve that if you lower the car too much the sport ride setting on the 430 will not be as effective or work at all. Any truth to this?

do a search for coilovers- lots about them. My feeling is that this new suspension is so highly engineered that I really don't want to mess with it too much in terms of ride height and replacing stuff. And I agree, with stiffer spring (NF's are 5% above stock, God knows what the DF's are) it could be like riding on Sport all the time, and switching to Sport could rattle your fillings out. The UPS just delivered my new NF's (just checked them out- they're blue and really cool looking, and came with go-fast stickers) and am having them installed tomorrow. I'll post some pix and people can compare the NF drop to GS430jw's who got the DF's.

BTW GS430jw, how is the ride quality compared to stock?

BTW it's not air suspension, just variable shock valving, like the Tein EDFC.

The ride quality is very good, and it feels like sport mod 24/7. I would stick to spring other than coilcovers because the height of the DF’s are perfect. But some people want it adjustable

Ex996, it should be interesting to see your car. Although I wish you would have gotten the DF's

sorry for the late reply.....very..........NICE. Love the stance. If you dont get wheels, i would suggest some H&R or LMW hubcentric spacers for the rear.

really nice and smooth looking, good job taking pics on a downward slope.

Which brand springs did you choose and how is the ride quality? Better before or now, in your opinion?

Kyosuke86, The springs are Tanabe DF210's. It's a hole new car.
The car was good before, but the handling and most importantly looks are 10x better.

I thought the DF's dropped the car 1.3inch in front and 1 inch in the rear? But according to EX996, the NF's do that? That is awesome. I wanted to do the DF's but since my dad will be doing most of the driving, he can't have the car too low or else he will scrape the hell out of the underside...
