I just replaced all 4 struts on my 2008 gs460 with kyb. I’ve noticed that I am still getting a clunking noise over bumps and railroad tracks. I’ve checked everything twice but nothing is loose. Any ideas of what else to look at and or replace? Thanks!

 

where is the clunking coming from? Where in florida are you located?

It could be many things, sway bar links, control arms, struts top hats. My gs460 I had put some moog sway bar bushings and they caused a clunking noise. Hard to tell without a video or seeing it in person.

 

I’m in Orlando. It’s coming from the front for sure. Rides smooth but if you hit some hard bumps you can definitely feel and hear a clunk. I’m contemplating replacing the sway bar endlinks to see if that helps.
