Bouncing around like a rabbit in heat.
Hello CL,
Last night when I was driving home from the beach I saw the silver GS bouncing down the street and thought "OMG what did he DO to that car?!"
I have a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs here but have decided not to install them until I get rims and tires. It seems that all of the cars I see with a smooth, "unbouncy" ride, have L-Sportline packages or some brand of coilovers.
Any and everyone that has installed Eibach springs let me know your story. I need to know that I made the right decision before it's too late. I want my car to look and feel like a Lexus not my cousins '67 VW bug with chopped springs. Thanks in advance.

My former Eibachs were not bouncy at all. Stiff (combined with Bilsteins), but never bouncy.

Exhale.....
Whew, thanks alot guys. I'll post the photos as soon as it's ready.
Thanks again.
PS - I have no idea what kind of springs this guy had but why would someone devalue their car buy cutting the springs? My cousin did it to his bug because it was fast a cheap...but a Lexus?

PHML,
You aren't the only 1 that tells me to "Mount Those Springs." Everyone I tell that they're in the garage waiting for install pretty much gives the same response , "Well, what are you waiting for?" Now you know what 1 of my hesitations were.
The advantage to mounting them now is that Wifey will get used to driving the car with a lower center of gravity before the rims and tires get here
I photoshopped the car to help me visualize it with bronze tint, springs, rims and tires...
It's not a good job but it does the trick -

I've used lots of lowering springs over the years and these are some of the most practical I've had. I can't think of anything more frustrating than having your car to low where you have to worry about speed bumps and the likes. You've got the best of both worlds with these!
Relax and enjoy!
