Default Shock eye bushing

Hey everyone I got a 07 250 rwd

and was wondering if anyone could help me out in finding what size I need for a pair of shock eye bushings. I recently bought coil overs but the bushings are toast.

You'll likely need to go aftermarket and run polyurethane...

FWIW - the cause of this is mostly human error during the installation. The PO left the suspension hanging down and tightened the bolts. When the car was set on all fours, the bushing was over rotated and the constant rotation past center, killed it.

An example of over-rotation past center is a human joint like your knee being hyper-extended. It's painful and it does damage! All bonded rubber joints MUST be centered in their range of travel before securing pinch bolts or they have a very short life and look like those!

I would just spend a little more and get new shocks. If you have more than 30-40k miles on the current suspension, i would just change it.

You could also contact the manufacturer of that coilover and ask them if they can send you the parts you need. Sometimes they will send them for free.
