Default Difference in stock suspensions

Do the GS3, GS4, GS430, and the Sport Design have different suspensions or are they universal?

Thanks,

Jack

Don't know about the GS4 and the Sport Design, but I can guarantee you that a 2k3 GS3 has a different suspension than a 2k1 GS4, or at least they act very differently. My guess is at a minimum, the springs are very different. I have bilstein sports on my GS4 and they are pretty much perfect and my wife agrees. We put bilstein sports on her GS3 and it is way too harsh. The sports are coming off today and HDs are going on. I can't see the weight issue being the difference because they are pretty close and the weight is primarily carried in the front while it is the rear of the GS3 that is really too stiff with the sports. Haven't gotten under it to look at bars and things but I can tell you a stock GS3 is quite a bit different than a stock GS430. It is such a difference that while I have TRD blue sways on my car, I have gotten both a set of blues and whites and am now doing some experimentation on my car and I believe that I will probably use the whites on the GS3. It really is amazing to experience how much different a setup wants to work on the GS3 than a 430.

I don't know about the history, but I believe on the current vehicles the suspension is the same across all versions with the exception of the SportDesign, which comes with the L-Tuned shocks.
